On through Massachusetts. The weather
is perfect and the fall colors are at their peak. We arrived at Cape Cod to find
the campgrounds full. It was Columbus Day weekend. The last "three day weekend"
of the summer. After many phone calls we found a site in a State Park. Dry
camping. No electric. But that was fine. We set up camp, went out for a seafood
dinner and went to bed early. We wanted an early start to explore the cape on
Sunday We were happy to find a place to leave the RV while we drove the jeep out
on the cape.

We drove to Provincetown, the end of Cape Cod. What a town! Narrow streets,
quaint boutiques, and lots of people. We were stuck in town until a caravan of
jeeps arrived. We fell in behind a bunch of jeeps and drove right out of town.
The cops stopped traffic and let the jeeps drive through. People were waving and
we acted as though we belonged in the group. They led us to Race Point
Beach. There was a Jeep rally going on and we were right in the middle of it.
We parked and walked to the beach. There we found a group of RVer's parked in
the sand. This is quite common around there. I think this would be fun. |

What a day! 180 miles of beaches,
lighthouses, fishing villages and this place smells of MONEY. Great day!
We are heading up the coast on Tuesday.
