On To Hershey August 21, 2006 We took the back roads to Hershey and what is normally a four hour trip turned out to be a 7 hour trip. Beautiful country but very mountainous. Thank heavens we were not in a hurry. We spent that night in the driveway of my son. We spent quality time with Rob and his family We then parked the RV at a campground half way between Rob & my daughter Deb and her family. Deb & Rob live 15 miles apart, so this campground was very convenient. We spent the week going from one house to the other for football practice, scrimmage games, soccer practice, swimming and other events. The grandchildren took turns spending the nights with us in the RV. Ron & I spent half a day at the Hershey Gardens. Beautiful! |

August 27, 2006 On Sunday, Deb & Todd had all of us to their house for a cookout and swimming. It is such a treat to have everyone together and watch the kids interact with each other. The kids all started school the next day so it was a great way to end their summer vacation. |
