Going South

It was cool when we left Pittsburgh. We drove to the most south west corner of the state. Ryerson State Park. It was warmer and as we parked the coach,

I spied many Bluebirds. I didn't expect to see Bluebirds in Pennsylvania this late in the year. There were also two Blue Herons right near us.

It was a nice treat to eat lunch enjoying the birds.

Traveling south we found this secluded campground. We stayed there longer then we planned because the surroundings were so perfect.

We saw many deer and flocks of turkeys. The nicest thing about camping this time of the year is that we have the campgrounds to ourselves.

We traveled down through West Virginia enjoying the mountains and valleys. We left the interstate highway and traveled the secondary roads.

The coach moaned a little but took us where we wanted to go. It is still cool. Only 55°. Hope to find warm weather soon.
